The Libertarian Party is a political party in the United States that advocates for the minimal government intervention in both personal and economic affairs. Founded in 1971, it is the largest and most influential third party in the U.S., though it remains significantly smaller than the Democratic and Republican parties.

The Green Party is a political party in the U.S. that highlights environmental sustainability, social justice, grassroots democracy, and nonviolence. It is part of the broader global Green movement, which began in Europe in the 1970s. Yet, a small third party in the U.S., the Green Party has had a notable impact on political discourse, particularly on issues related to the environmental and social justice.

Founded in 1992, the Constitution Party is a conservative political party in the U.S. that advocates for a strict interpretation of the U.S. Constitution emphasizing limited government, states' rights, and traditional values. Originally the Taxpayers Party, the party changed its name to the Constitution Party to better reflect its focus on constitutional principles.

The Socialist Party of America was founded in 1901 through the merger of the Social Democratic Party. The party has a long and complex history, reflecting various movements and ideologies within the broader socialist tradition.

Founded in 1919, the Communist Party USA (CPUSA) is a political party in the United States that advocates for the abolition of capitalism and the establishment of a socialist society. The party was inspired by the Russian Revolution and sought to lead the working class in the struggle for economic equality and social justice.
